Update – 02 April 2026 We endeavour to keep you updated on the travel situations in the Middle East, and we hope to continue providing accurate and timely information, travellers should be aware flights may be cancelled or delayed.
Malaysia Airlines services continue to operate as scheduled and are routing flights via alternative paths to avoid affected airspace. As a result, flight times to and from Europe may experience slight extensions. All passengers are advised to arrive at KL International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 four (4) hours ahead of their scheduled departure time. This allows sufficient time for check-in and document verification at various airport touchpoints. Malaysia Airlines has further extended the temporary suspension of its Doha (DOH) services until 14th June 2026, following a risk assessment indicating that the security situation in the region remains unchanged. All other services, including Jeddah (JED), Madinah (MED), London (LHR) and Paris (CDG) continue to operate as scheduled.
Qatar Airways scheduled flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace. Qatar Airways will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace by the relevant authorities. Additionally, Qatar Airways will operate a revised limited number of flights .As a continuing measure, please be reminded that if you have a confirmed booking with a travel date between 28 February and 30 April 2026, you are eligible for:
Two complimentary date changes to a new travel date up to 31 Oct 2026 when rebooking on flights operated by Qatar Airways These schedules have been enhanced to give more flexibility to passengers wishing to travel. Passengers are kindly asked not to arrive at their departure airport unless they hold a valid, confirmed ticket for travel.
Emirates Airlines With the limited re-opening of airspace, Emirates is operating a reduced flight schedule until further notice. Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport unless they have received a confirmed departure time directly from their airline.
